Located on Main Street in the picturesque Village of Angola. Wheelchair accessible. Street parking and parking lot across the street available.

Public Access Computers: 9 computers,  6  laptops, networked (printing 10 cents per page B&W, 25 cents Color) Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Access, Misc. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

Study Room, Copy Machine: B&W 15 cents per page, Color 25 cents. Fax Service available.

What's Special about the Angola Public Library?

Located just 2 miles from the shores of Lake Erie the library welcomes a large influx of summer residents.  It is the perfect place to come to check out a wide variety of books, magazine, DVD's, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD's or use the computers.

We have the Angola Record, a local newspaper, from 1879-1937 on an external hard drive.

Lake Shore Central Year Books are available for in library use.

  • Lego Fun Night: Thursday, July 19th from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Drop-in any time on our lego nights! Legos provided. No registration required. Creations will be displayed in the library.
  • Medicare, Medicaid & New York State of Health Info and Ice Cream Social: Friday, July 20th from 12:00 - 2:00pm. It is not too late to enroll if you have a qualifying situation or find out if you might have one. A representative will be on hand with information and help with enrollment. Also, receive help with Epic, Medicare Savings Plan, and how these programs may help you! No Registration Required.
  • Buffalo Animal Adventures: Saturday, July 21st at 1:00pm. Join us for an around the world safari adventure program! Buffalo Animal Adventures will bring live animals to the library for everyone to see, and learn about! Please call to register. There is a limited number of children we can allow to attend the program.

  • Do-It-Yourself Instruments: Monday, July 23rd at 6:00pm. Craft a variety of DIY instruments out of everyday materials as we explore music and sound! We'll make a spin drum and other unique instruments. For ages 10-12. Pre-registration required.

  • Moving and Grooving with Miss Laurie: Wednesday, July 25th 6:00pm. Come in your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal and join us for fun filled stories, songs and much more. Ages 2-5. Please call to register.

    Wednesday, August 1st 6:00pm. Come in your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal and join us for fun filled stories, songs and much more. Ages 2-5. Please call to register.
  • Introduction to Balloon Sculpture: Thursday, August 2nd 6:00pm. This is a fun and imaginative introduction to the art of balloon sculpture. Inflating,tying and managing the air within the balloon. Students will make balloon sculptures of their very own. Ages 7 & up. Space is limited. Please call to register.

  • Book-a-Trainer: Monday, August 6th, with sessions at 5:00, 6:00 & 7:00pm. Need computer assistance? We can help. Register for a one-on-one 45 minute session with a technology trainer on a variety of subjects. Call 549-1271 for information or to register.
  • Board of Trustees Meeting: Tuesday, August 7th  6:00pm. Monthly meeting of the Angola Board of Trustees.
