Located on Clinton Street between Bailey Avenue and South Ogden Street, at the corner of Fenton Street. Wheelchair accessible and Parking lot available, but parking is limited. Drop box located on Fenton Street, available 24/7.


Our site has the following features:

Public Access PC's

  • 5 All ages computers
  • Small separate lab with 4 adult computers
  • 1 computer equipped with a scanner (30 minute express)
  • All computers have access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Printing is $0.10 cents a page for black and white or $0.25 cents a page for color


Copier - Black and White only, and $0.15 cents a side

Free Wi-Fi access

Community Room - available for booking

April Events:

Airzookas: Air in Motion - Wednesday April 4th at 2:00 pm

Come on down to the library and practice some airbending skills, with a little help from an Airzooka. We'll show you what an Airzooka is, explain how they work and let you use them to complete challenges and win some prizes, It's sure to be a blast.


3D Flower Craft Night - Monday April 9th at 6:00 pm

Spring is here! .. well inside anyways... and we want to help you get into spirit by showing you how to make a variety of 3D paper flowers for your own homes. Program designed for teens and older.


Spring Story Time with Mr. Paul - Wednesday April 11th at 6:00 pm

 (Repeated on Saturday April 14th at 12:00 pm)

We have a special Spring themed story time, presented by Mr. Paul. Help up celebrate the new season with some rainy stories and crafts! Designed for ages 3-6.


Nan Hoffman in Concert - Saturday April 21st at 1:00 pm

Nan Hoffman stops by the East Clinton Library to help us celebrate Earth Day. Join us as, fan favorite, Nan sings "Songs for a Livable Land" a concert for all Ages!


East Clinton Book Club - Monday April 23rd at 6:30 pm

The East Clinton Book Club will be meeting to discuss Jeannette Wall’s novel: "The Glass Castle". New members are always welcome!


Ongoing Weekly and Monthly events:

  • Weekly Craft Saturdays - every Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon. 
  • Monthly family board game night - The last Wednesday of every month from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.


Borrowed materials can be returned to any Buffalo & Erie County Public Library or renewed online at through our online catalog, after you have logged under "My Account".


Library patrons can also visit the library 24/7 online at www.BuffaloLib.org to maintain & manage accounts, download books, music and video, use the databases, research and more!

Library System Information on the Board of Trustees

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton, East Delavan, Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., Niagara, North Park and the Riverside Branch Libraries. 

All System Board of Trustee meetings and committee meetings are open to the public
